Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America's Charges.
In January of 2006 I was the Correspondence Secretary for the Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America. I resigned in July 2007. The Club had a web site but it was in control of another member and the President was unable to converse with the person that had control of it. After much discussion back and forth with the President of the Club, I offered to purchase a web site and domain name but would hold ownership of the domain name and the hosting package until the Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America became non profit. At that time I would turn the package over to the Club. On February 2/24/2006 (see receipt) I purchased the domain name (http://mcpca.net) and hosting package for a 2 year duration and paid for it from my own funds.
Later in February 2006 I spoke with Juliana McMullin and asked her if she would volunteer her time, to build a web site on my domain name and hosted package site, parked on Godaddy.com. I informed the President that Juliana had agreed to design the web site free. The President bought it up at the next meeting, it was voted and passed to thank Juliana for designing the web site, with a three year free membership in the Club.
I gave Juliana the site information and the password and she designed and maintained the website for the Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America until her computer went down in June of 2007. In June the Club Board changed making Sara Gessner President, and in August the new Vice President (Eleni Stevens) informed the Board that she could work on the keeping the Web Site updated until Juliana had her computer fixed. I contacted Juliana to ask if it was fine for another to act as the webmaster and make changes to her web design, since she was off line. She said yes and I gave the password to my Domain Name and hosting package to the Vice President.
In July 2007 the Multi-colored Poodle Club Board asked Nancy Schmidt (Membership Secretary) to contact me and ask me to turn over the web site to the Club. I emailed Nancy back explaining that the Club has never become non profit and I am not prepared to do that as per our agreement. Nancy read the letter to the Board, it was never recorded in the meeting minutes. Nancy Schmidt will attest to the fact that she read the letter to the Board at the August meeting.
In August we revealed that we had a litter of Poodles with Day Blind puppies in it which led to much controversy and me being accused of attempting to destroy a certain line of Poodles, the line led back to Sara Gessners JC Pioneer line. As opposed to assisting us in finding a marker I was accused of trying to destroy her and her lines. My request in my initial email was for assistance from other Parti Poodle people to send blood to Missouri State University, who is the study team attempting to find the marker for this disease. Many demeaning emails sent with incredible venom to myself and a co-breeder. See the article pertaining to this in the International Parti Poodle Gazette. http://www.ippgazette.com/Issues/V4-1/FPV4-1.htm After this barrage of unbelievable accusations by several members, I felt that the Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America had few ethics and since they had never honored their part of the agreement in securing the Domain Name and Hosting package, I decided to no longer allow them to use the site at all, and felt the site would be better put to use to expose health issues. I used the Domain Name and Hosting package to build this site.
Since then the Board has held a Special Meeting, with the current President, Sara Gessner accusing me of "hijacking" the Multi-Colored Web Site. In fact I took back my hosting package and my Domain name, the actual website had been downloaded by the Vice President to her own computer, she then uploaded it to the Club's newly purchased site at http://www.mcpcaonline.info/ . It is still the exact same site that Juliana will attest to designing. No web site was ever "Hijacked". (Updated as of 5-27-08, Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America has a new web site and has removed http://www.mcpcaonline.info/).
Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America has placed in their "Parti Line" newsletter and uploaded this article to their web site making it public domain for all to read. Sara Gessner, the current President of the Multi-Colored Poodle Club of America bought the charges. In fact Sara Gessner deliberately lied to the Board and was fully aware that I owned the Domain Name and Hosting Package as stated in her own words in this Board Meeting minutes.
